OSCE and Tajikistan’s CBRN Safety Centre host schoolchildren’s educational tour on radiation awareness

On 13 February 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD), in co-operation with the Centre for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Safety under Tajikistan’s National Academy of Sciences, organized a one-day educational tour for schoolchildren to promote natural sciences and environmental awareness. The event brought together 50 students from grades 10–11 and their teachers from four districts of Dushanbe, as well as one school from Hisor.

OSCE convenes Third International Training Board Meeting on Explosive Hazards

On 11 February 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe’s Integrated Co-operation on Explosive Hazards (ICExH) programme convened the Third International Training Board Meeting in a hybrid format in Dushanbe. The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders for strategic dialogue and co-ordination on explosive hazards reduction in Central Asia.

On 6 February 2026, the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre (REHTC) of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan, in partnership with the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD), concluded a four-week regional training course on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
