From 6 to 24 July 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe supported a training needs assessment initiative for the Main Prison Department of Tajikistan to identify professional development priorities and strengthen staff capacities within the penitentiary system.

OSCE-supported Explosive Ordnance Disposal training strengthens regional co-operation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

Five service members of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic successfully completed an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Level 3 course at the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The three-week course took place from 6 to 24 July 2026 and concluded with a certificate award ceremony in Dushanbe on 24 July 2026.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe organized a series of social entrepreneurship training courses for vulnerable women, including survivors of domestic violence and women from low-income families, in Khujand, Panjakent, Bokhtar, the Rasht Valley and Khorog from April to July 2026.
