OSCE supports expansion of “Green Patrols” initiative in Tajikistan

On 4 and 5 May, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in co-operation with the Youth Group on Protection of Environment, organized a two-day Training of Trainers in Dushanbe aimed at strengthening and expanding the youth environmental movement “Green Patrols” across Tajikistan.

OSCE supports Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defense on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Training in Khatlon Region

From 20 April to 2 May, the Programme Office in Dushanbe provided technical and logistical support to a Ministry of Defence-led course on Basic Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Hosted in Bokhtar City, instructors from the Ministry’s own Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre (REHTC) delivered the training to 14 participants (all male) including six personnel from the Ministry of Defense, six from the Border Troops, and two from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan (MIA), in co-operation with the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, has successfully concluded the awareness campaign "Prevention of Drug Addiction, Juvenile Delinquency, and Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle", which ran from 4 April to 28 April 2026.
