OSCE supports the Tajikistan Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct a study visit to the Republic of Serbia for facilitating co-operation with Serbian law enforcement specialized training institutions
From 4 to 8 May 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) supported the visit of four representatives of Tajikistan Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) to the Republic of Serbia to get familiarized with the work of their Serbian counterparts. The Tajikistan MIA delegation consisted of four representatives (all men) from the Office of the National Co-ordinator for Police Reform, MIA Training Centre and MIA Scientific and Research Centre

On 4 May 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe POiD), supported by Acted, organized a conference to commemorate World Press Freedom Day in Dushanbe under the theme “Shaping a Future at Peace: Promoting Press Freedom for Human Rights, Development, and Security”.

OSCE supports expansion of “Green Patrols” initiative in Tajikistan
On 4 and 5 May, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in co-operation with the Youth Group on Protection of Environment, organized a two-day Training of Trainers in Dushanbe aimed at strengthening and expanding the youth environmental movement “Green Patrols” across Tajikistan.
