The OSCE supports law enforcement agencies from Tajikistan in enhancing their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in fighting cybercrime
From 25 to 30 October 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe facilitated the participation of five officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and four prosecutors from the General Prosecutor’s Office (GPO) in a five-day practical learning course on Digital Forensics and Open-Source Intelligence in Countering Cybercrime. The course was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, in co-operation with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Tashkent.

2026 International Business Forum in Sughd Region: From uranium history to new economic opportunities, with the international support
On 29-30 October 2026, the European Union (EU) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), together with the Executive Body of State Authority of Sughd Region, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Public Organization “Youth Group on Protection of the Environment” (YGPE) and other national and international organizations and partners, co-organized the IV International Business Forum ROST-2026 in Khujand, Sughd Region, Tajikistan.

OSCE trains border officers from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to verify security documents
The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe held a learning course on verifying the authenticity of security documents from 19 to 23 October 2026, in Guliston, Sughd Region. Fourteen border officers, seven from the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan and seven from the Border Troops of Tajikistan, participated in the course.
