“As online criminal activities increase, strengthening the capacities of law enforcement agencies is crucial, particularly in regions like Central Asia, where digital technologies are rapidly evolving and criminal justice institutions need to continuously adapt their capacities to respond effectively”, said Ewan Todd, Head of the Politico-Military Department at the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe.

OSCE and TNMAC strengthen access to rights and psychosocial support for mine and ERW survivors in Tajikistan
From 11 to 14 August 2026, a four-day workshop on peer-to-peer support for mine and explosive remnants of war (ERW) survivors was held in Dushanbe. Organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe in close co-ordination with the Tajikistan National Mine Action Center (TNMAC), the workshop brought together 16 mine and ERW survivors (3 women and 13 men) from different regions of Tajikistan.
