OSCE trains government stakeholders and civil society organizations on working with domestic violence perpetrators
From 1 to 5 December 2025, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe conducted a training for key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Law “On Prevention of Domestic Violence,” including civil society organizations and consultation rooms working with domestic violence perpetrators.

From 1 to 5 December 2025, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe conducted a training for key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Law “On Prevention of Domestic Violence,” including civil society organizations and consultation rooms working with domestic violence perpetrators.
The event brought together 23 participants, including 6 men and 17 women, representing the Ministry of Internal Affairs, General Prosecutor’s Office, Supreme Court, Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Ombudsperson’s Office, Ministry of Justice, civil society organizations, representatives of the consultation rooms, and the Association of Psychologists.
Discussions focused on working with domestic violence perpetrators and referral practices to ensure the safety and support of victims. The training aimed to raise awareness among government authorities about services for domestic violence perpetrators and to familiarize them with the updated draft curriculum of the Correctional Programme.
International trainers and experts supported participants in simulating and demonstrating service delivery based on the adjusted Correctional Programme.
