Being a reliable partner, the OSCE supports local initiatives some of which have a tangible impact on people’s lives. One such example is the reconstruction of the Tagoba small hydroelectric power plant in the Rasht district. Once reconstructed, it expects to generate electricity for 72 households, a school, clinic, a teahouse and a mosque. The water canal for the plant has been constructed with the help of volunteers from the Porvog village community, Rasht district, 11 September 2014.
