In Tajikistan the roots of domestic violence, particularly against women is caused by several factors. One of the factors is women’s poor awareness of their rights and inaccessibility to justice. Domestic violence is often perpetrated by the mother-in-law from generation to generation, Khuroson District, Ayni Jamoat of Kurgan-Tube, December 2014.
